You can invest tax free up to R 36 000 per tax year and a total of R 500 000 during your lifetime.
Your interest rate remains the same for the full 12 months of the investment. But if the rate increases, you benefit from the increase. If you reinvest after the 12 month term, the rate applicable at the time of reinvestment applies.
You have the option to withdraw funds during the anniversary month, and every 12 months thereafter.
Allow your Tax-Free investment to grow as long as you like, provided a minimum balance of R50 is maintained.
